1) Description of Sweepstakes: BookMinded, LLC (the "Sponsor") is offering, "Win an Afternoon with Winston E. Scott, the Astronaut!" (the "Sweepstakes") and will award prizes via a random selection of eligible entrants. The Sweepstakes begins at 6:00 AM September 1, 2008 US Eastern Time (ET) and ends February 28, 2009 at 12:00 PM (midnight) US ET, ("Sweepstakes Period").

2) Eligibility: Sweepstakes is open to legal US residents (excluding AK and HI), who are 18 years or older and currently employed as teachers or school administrators in a primary or secondary school located in the forty-eight (48) contiguous states. Sweepstakes is void in AK, HI and where prohibited or restricted by law. Employees, officers and representatives (and members of their immediate families and those living in the same household of each) of BookMinded, LLC, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, agents, representatives, advertising and promotion agencies and any company involved in the design, execution or production of the Sweepstakes are not eligible.

3) How to Enter: Via a Book Purchase - When you purchase Winston E. Scott's book, "Reflections from Earth Orbit" on-line from Collector's Publishing Guide during the Sweepstakes Period, you will automatically receive one (1) entry in the Sweepstakes. If you purchase the book at any other retailer, hand print your first and last name, title, name of your school/employer, street address, city, state, zip code, telephone number including area code and e-mail address on a 3" x 5" card; attach a photo-copy of the receipt from your book purchase made during the Sweepstakes period and mail in an envelope addressed to: Win an Afternoon with an Astronaut! PO Box 12487, Scottsdale, AZ 85267-2487. Mailed entries must be postmarked no later than February 28, 2009 and received by March 6, 2009. FREE Entry Method - Request an Official Entry Form by sending a self-addressed/postage affixed envelope to: Win an Afternoon with Winston E. Scott, the Astronaut Official Entry Form Request, PO Box 12055, Scottsdale, AZ 85267-2055. Requests for Official Entry forms must be postmarked by February 20, 2009 and received by February 28, 2009. Complete the entry form and follow the instructions for mailing to enter as found on the form. There is no limit to the number of Official Entry Forms you can request, however each request must be mailed in a separate envelope.

4) Prizes: One (1) Grand Prize – One winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries to receive an in-person presentation by former astronaut, Winston E. Scott at the school at which the winner is currently employed, ("Presentation Prize"). The Presentation Prize includes all travel expenses for Winston E. Scott and a 2-4 hour presentation/Q&A session with students at the school. The Presentation Prize must be scheduled and completed on a mutually acceptable date/time before June 1, 2009. The approximate retail value ("ARV") of the prize is $4,500. Twenty-five (25) First Place Prizes – Autographed picture of Astronaut, Winston E. Scott for use in winner’s school of employment, ARV $30. There are a total of twenty-six (26) prizes available with an overall total ARV of $5,250. The odds of winning any given prize depend upon the total number of entries received. Limit, one prize per person and per school.

5) General: Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries on or about March 13, 2009 and will be notified via phone, e-mail, and/or mail within two (2) business days of the drawing to confirm prize acceptance, ("Prize Notification"). Potential winners must respond within five (5) business days of Sponsor’s first Prize Notification with confirmation of acceptance. Failure to respond in this time frame or the return of Prize Notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected.

ANY AND ALL TAX LIABILITY RESULTING FROM THE WINNER’S RECEIPT OF THE PRIZE IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER. There are no prize transfers, prize substitutions or cash options available. If the Presentation Prize has been accepted and scheduled, but cannot be completed for reason beyond the control of the school, the Sponsor or Winston E. Scott, before June 1, 2009, the prize is void and the Sponsor has no obligation for re-scheduling, compensation or reimbursement of any kind.

By entering, participants (a) agree to comply with and be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor which are final and binding in all respects; (b) agree to release Sponsor and its employees and agents from any and all liability, loss, damage or injury resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes or from the awarding, receipt, possession use and/or misuse of any prize; and (c) consent to use of his/her name, photograph and/or likeness, statements and voice for advertising and promotional purposes in all media worldwide and in perpetuity without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

Sponsor is not responsible for any lost, late, delayed, misdirected, garbled, illegible, incorrect or inaccurate information or entries that are misdirected or misrouted as a result of interrupted or unavailable network, phone or internet connections or transmissions for any reason, or for any computer, phone, phone line hardware or software malfunction, failure or error of any kind, whether mechanical, human or electronic. Mailed entries, which are illegible, incomplete, machine-duplicated, photocopied, or postage due are not eligible. Any attempt by an entrant to interfere with the operations of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws; Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such entrant to the fullest extent permitted by law. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including, without limitation, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes and select winners in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received prior to the cancellation. All entries are the property of the Sponsor.

6) Release: BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, YOU RELEASE AND HOLD THE SPONSOR AND ITS EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, SHAREHOLDERS, AGENTS, AND REPRESENTATIVES OF SPONSOR AFFILIATES, HARMLESS FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL LOSSES, DAMAGES, CLAIMS, AND ACTIONS OF ANY KIND ARISING IN CONNECTION WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES OR RESULTING FROM ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE OR MISUSE OF, OR DEFECTS IN, A PRIZE, OR PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION CLAIMS BASED ON PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, PROPERTY LOSS OR DAMAGE, PUBLICITY OR PRIVACY RIGHTS, AND/OR DEFAMATION.
